"Why
don't my tokens work here?"
There are two competing micro-payment
systems that currently use tokens for purchase. The system we use is Bee-Tokens
(formerly called Bondage-Tokens). The other is TokenSystems
(also known as "Token Town"). If your tokens don't work (and
if you know your token account is not empty), you are probably trying
to use TokenSystems tokens on the Bondage Web. At present, we only
accept Bee-Tokens, although that may change in the future.
"Why
did you choose Bee-Tokens?"
There were several business
reasons for the choice. The main customer service reason is that after
your initial purchase, TokenSystems will continue to bill you for 200
new tokens (at $19.95) every month, unless you cancel. I do not consider
this acceptable for our visitors.
Bee-Tokens only charges you for the Tokens you purchase, and you are not automatically re-billed, so there is nothing to cancel. If you want more tokens, you simply purchase them -- you aren't forced to buy them unless you remember to cancel.
In addition to credit cards, Bee-Tokens also allows you to purchase tokens using PayPal.
"I
entered my Bee-Tokens number, and received an error message. What happened?"
A few of you have reported
problems getting into the token galleries with your valid Bee-Tokens number.
The gallery content uses a security system that routes unauthorized users
to a page that begins "WHOOPSIE".
If you are seeing the error page, please do the following:
- Make sure that you entered your Bee-Tokens ID number with the prefix "bt", as in "bt00000000".
- Please check to make sure that your browser accepts cookies and JavaScript.
- WAIT 60 MINUTES before trying again! (The security system locks out a computer's IP address for 60 minutes if it thinks someone is trying to gain access without a valid Bee-Tokens ID number.)
